Crazy for Pets Home

We would like to build a comprehensive directory of pet rescue sites and information. If you know of any organizations -- especially small, local ones, please add them to our directory. If the organization does not have a web page, that is OK. Just contact us with the information (name, phone number, contact).

If you want to submit a site to the directory, please do, but be warned -- sites are checked before they are included and only pet-relevant sites will be added. Submit a site.

Check out links in several categories, including Animal Health, Birds, Cats, Cows, Dogs, Fish, Horses, Humane Societies. Suggest your own site, too! And, if you have pictures of your pets that you'd like to share, please email them to Webmaster.

You could get a strain of drug-resistant Salmonella from your pet rodent or reptile. Recently a number of children have been hospitalized after becoming infected by pet hamsters, gerbils and other rodents. Fortunately, none died. You can prevent Salmonella poisoning by thoroughly washing your hands with hot water and soap after playing with your pet rodent or reptile and after cleaning its cage and/or bedding.
